Conquest of AzerothCore
One launcher installs the game, points it at this realm, and starts it. You do not unzip patches, edit realmlist, or run extra scripts.
Server is up
Windows may warn that the file is unsigned. More info → Run anyway.
How to play
- Create a game account on this site (letters and numbers, password 6–16 characters). That username and password are what you type in the game. You only do this once.
- Download CoALauncher.exe and run it. It copies itself into AppData and puts a desktop shortcut named Conquest of AzerothCore.
- Click Play. The first time, it downloads the client into a folder it chooses (change that under Install folder if you want). That first download is large and can take a while. After that, Play only fetches files whose hash no longer matches, then starts Ascension.exe.
- The launcher writes realmlist and login files for you. Do not use Wow.exe or the old official launcher.
- At the login screen, use the account from step 1. Create a character from the 21 Conquest of Azeroth classes — those are the only classes on this realm.
- Want addons? Copy them into
Interface\AddOnsyourself. The launcher does not install addons and does not have a locker.
If something goes wrong
- Play is greyed out / “waiting for the client package” — the 43 GB client is not on the server yet. Try again later.
- Login mentions Discord or cannot connect — close the game, open the launcher, click Play again so it rewrites connect files.
- Crashes or broken trainers — note character name, zone, and what you clicked.
