• At character create you get 2 picks (1 of 3 each time).
• Every even level (2, 4, … 80) you pick 1 of 3 spells from every class, level-appropriate.
• A pick is a spell line. Ranks upgrade as you level (~40 unique lines at 80).
• Trikyn Draft is bundled in the client (Interface\AddOns\TrikynDraft) — three cards with tooltips. It opens shortly after login when a pick is waiting. Type trikyn in chat to reopen it; trikyn menu is a text fallback.
• Class trainers cannot teach the Free Roll book.

Pick race, sex, and face. Everyone is stored as Warrior (dummy class) so all armor works. If the client still shows a class list, choose Warrior. A later patch hides that row.

Item class restrictions are cleared. Cloth through plate and the usual weapons are trained on login.
